I am an Everton fan and I make no bones about it. I love the colour blue, the Everton colour, and I own a blue car. If I had a choice I would paint my house blue also. I have followed their FA games and their derby matches with traditional rivals Liverpool. Don’t ask me the reason for being an Everton fan. Let’s just say its family tradition as my dad was also an Everton fan. Whenever Everton wins I get emotionally overwhelmed. I am proud that Everton has produced some players that have played for the UK in the FIFA cup. Their junior academy really helps boys who love football and have made a career in professional football. I also boo Wayne Rooney as he is a product of the Everton academy and now plays for arch rivals Manchester United. I, as an Everton fan, also like to see my team when they are playing stiff rivals. That is what gets my adrenalin surging, and the closer the contest, the more thrilling it is. I hope to enjoy many more seasons watching my favourite Evertons playing, and I hope they will keep producing top class footballers.
